Lauren
S. Groff, President and Owner, has 24 years of experience
in the design, art direction, and marketing of all types
of graphic design materials. She has directed in-house design
departments at The University of Maryland University College,
the National Association of Manufacturers, and several private
marketing communication firms. Under her guidance, the studio
staff maintain a balance among the priorities of creative
design, high quality production, cost effective budgets,
and timely delivery. Lauren specializes in art direction,
business development and project planning/coordination and
manages the overall operations of the company.
Jay
M. Groff, Vice President and Creative Director, has
spent 28 years in the graphic design industry directing a
wide spectrum of corporate communications and strategic marketing
projects for such diverse clients as the Mortgage Bankers
Association of America, Pepco, Marriott Corporation, National
Air & Space Museum of the Smithsonian Institution, and
The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. He has a reputation for producing
innovative design solutions that couple sophisticated concepts
with results-oriented expertise. A talented instructor as
well, he has taught classes in design methodology and typography
at the Corcoran School of Art, George Washington University,
and the Smithsonian Institution. While Jay primarily oversees
the marketing, creative, and technical aspects of all studio
assignments, he also functions as a hands-on director who
regularly enjoys the role of lead designer on selected projects.
